Author Event with Kaia Alderson, author of Sisters in Arms
Ingram Library is pleased to bring you author and UWG alumna (M.Ed. 2012) Kaia Alderson to talk about writing and to read from her novel Sisters in Arms. There will be refreshments served and a book signing after the talk. Kaia Alderson’s debut historical fiction novel reveals the untold, true story of the Six Triple Eight, the only all-Black battalion of the Women’s Army Corps, who made the dangerous voyage to Europe to ensure American servicemen received word from their loved ones during World War II.
