Please consider joining us for a book signing and author event with Julia Walker, co-author of the recently published biography Fireball: The True Story of a Tennessee Plow Girl Who Survived Poverty, Abuse, and Eleven Husbands With Wit, Wisdom, and Tenacity.

Julia Walker, a native Alabamian, lived in Georgia for many years. She received her Master’s Degree in psychology at the then West Georgia College. While residing in Palmetto, she taught school in Coweta County. She now resides in Athens, Tennessee, where she met and became friends with 84-year-old Hazel Lindsey, the coauthor and subject of the memoir Fireball: The true story of a Tennessee plow girl who survived poverty, abuse, and eleven husbands with wit, wisdom, and tenacity.

Walker will be at Underground Books signing books from 5-7pm, with a short reading and Q&A around 6pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
