Green cloth over boards with thistle stamped in dark green and silver to upper board and spine with silver title banner to upper board. Moderate edgewear and scattered rubbing to binding, with bumping to corners and spot of soiling to spine. Lean to spine. Hinges cracking, with webbing visible. Tender birthday inscription to front free endpaper, dated 1904. Occasional spot of foxing to pages, else unmarked. A worn but still quite lovely copy of Amelia E. Barr's romantic novel of Scotland in an Amy Richard designed binding. Good. Item #2748
