Bound in full blue leather with boards , with boards and spine stamped and decorated in 22kt gilt, all edges gilt, with golden silk moire endpapers and matching silk ribbon placemarker. Very faint rubbing to extremities and faint scratches to gilt at text block edges, else fine. Binding is firm, tight, and sound. Pages are clean, bright, unmarked, and appear unread. A highly presentable collector's edition of the iconic modernist materpiece by James Joyce, here bound in full, gilt-decorated leather and illustrated throughout with artwork by Henri Matisse, part of the Easton Press Great Books of the 20th Century collection, with accompanying Collector's Notes laid in.
