Light edgewear to unclipped dust jackets, with light dust soiling to rear panels. Bound in green buckram over boards, with spines lettered in gilt over black. Bumping to corners and dust soiling and scuffing to bottom edges of text blocks. Front hinge a touch tender to Volume I. Bindings are firm and sound. Old penciled bookseller notes to front free endpapers. Pages are clean and unmarked. A very presentable first edition set, complete in two volumes and with original dust jackets, of The Cambridge History of Islam. Very good / very good. Item #17415
