7" X "5". vi, 56pp. Bound in dark gray-mauve cloth over bevelled boards, with a crescent bough of blossoms stamped in black to upper board, lettered in gilt to upper board and in black to spine, with decorations in blind to rear. Mild wear to binding, with stain to upper board along spine edge and rubbing and gentle bumping to edges and extremities. All edges gilt. Beautiful patterned endpapers. Gift inscription dated 1887 to flyleaf. Illustrated throughout in vignettes by John Gilbert. Very good. Item #16800
