Hermetic science, rooted in the teachings attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, embodies a philosophical and spiritual tradition that emerged in late antiquity. Central to Hermeticism are principles such as "As above, so below," reflecting a belief in interconnectedness between the universe and the individual. The Corpus Hermeticum contains core texts associated with Hermes Trismegistus, outlining esoteric wisdom encompassing alchemy, astrology, numerology, and mystical practices. Alchemy, a key aspect, symbolically signifies inner spiritual transformation and enlightenment. With influences on Western esotericism, including the Renaissance Hermetic revival and the development of Christian Kabbalah, Hermetic science remains a multifaceted approach to understanding the cosmos and attaining spiritual wisdom.
