S. Army Transportation Corps at Fort Eustis, Virginia.

Moderate wear to tassel-bound album, with black cloth over flexible boards, and upper board lettered in gilt. Warping to boards and rear hinge tender. Binding remains sound. Most pictures of fellow privates relaxing or posing on and off deck, as well as photographs of the ocean, cargo, military transport, radio equipment, barracks, the USNS Sagitta, USNS Redbud, and USNS Marine Carp, many of Thule Air Base in Greenland, the US Armed Forces' northernmost installation, with a couple of images from Ocean View Beach in Norfolk, Virginia and Goose Bay, Labrador.
Track ephemera includes: Welcome Banquet menu for 2nd Army Championship Track and Field Meet and Triathlon hosted by the U. S. Army Engineer Center in Fort Belvoir, Virginia on May 16-18th, 1956 with 13pp Information Booklet, including schedule of events and fold-out map of campus. Two handmade menus for athletic banquets, one for Brewton-Parker College in 1957 and the other unidentified, with baseball shape. Two newspaper clippings: "SCC Captures Track Crown" and "Fort Lee Team Dominates Second Army Track Meet," the latter dated May 26, 1956.
December 1953 Yearbook for the Ordnance Replacement Training Center in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland: 12 1/4" X 9 1/4". Burgundy cloth over boards, lettered in yellow to upper board. Rather heavy wear to binding, with soiling and hard rubbing to cloth and rippling, dampstaining, and foxing to pages throughout, soiling to endpapers. Owner's name with Fort Eustis address to verso of front free endpaper. Binding is sound. Poor.
