Fourth Edition. Leather bound. 8 1/2" X 5 3/8". xxxviii, 398pp. Volume I only of a four-volume set. Boards attached only by exposed strings; binding remains relatively sound. Small dampstains to front endpapers. Foxing and age-toning to pages throughout. Engraved frontispiece of the author present. An admittedly very worn 1805 printing of this first volume of English politician and historian Bryan Edwards' (1743-1800) history of the British colonies in the West Indies. Fair. Item #5851
