Red underlining to front free endpaper. Brown cloth over boards, with upper board and spine lettered in black. Mild edgewear to binding, with bumping to extremities. Binding is firm, tight, and sound. Inked and pencilled marks to pages throughout. An admittedly worn but still striking and interesting Soviet edition of this portrayal of life in a Siberian prison camp by titan of Russian literature Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Good / good. Item #5472
