Philadelphia: The Penn Publishing Company, 1918.
First Edition. Hardcover. 7 3/4" X 5 3/8". 332pp. Red cloth over boards, with upper board and spine lettered in white. Mild wear to binding, with bumping to extremities, rubbing to lettering, and lean to spine. Lettering at spine very faded. Soiling to edges of text block. Toning to endpapers. Binding is sound. Rather heavy foxing to pages throughout, else unmarked. An admittedly worn but solid first printing of this installment in John T. McIntyre's Ashton-Kirk mysteries series, illustrated throughout in tissue-guarded frontispiece and three black and white plates. Good. Item #5375
