Hardcover. 10" X 7 7/8". Unpaginated, 28 leaves, printed rectos only. Enclosed in original box as issued. Baby blue cloth over boards, with pictorial title label to upper board. Mild wear to binding, with a touch of light soiling and shelfwear to cloth. Binding is firm and sound. Six pages feature handwritten notes for baby John Wilbur Terry Jr., born May 29, 1917. Original box shows heavy wear with tears to edges and extremities, parts of side of box missing, and light soiling; box is in fair condition. A charming and tender record of the birth of a child over a hundred years ago. Very good +. Item #4496
