Green cloth over boards, with upper boards and spine lettered in gilt. Mild edgewear to binding, with bumping to bottom corners. Binding is firm and sound. Pages are clean and unmarked. A nice signed first printing of this tribute to the Mississippi River by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Hodding Carter (1907-1972).
