Heavy wear to binding, with edges and extremities rubbed to boards, tears to cloth, scattered rubbing, and soiling. Both hinges cracked; binding remains fairly sound. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Pages are age-toned and very musty, else unmarked. Several pamphlets laid in: Prayer to St. Anne in English, Beata Bartolomea Capitanio, and a guide to making a novena in honor of St. Odilia. An admittedly very worn, but still quite attractive 1889 printing, with related ephemera. Fair. Item #4397
