Moderate wear to cloth, with scattered rubbing, edgewear, light soiling, and bumping and small tears to extremities. Text block separating, with most pages loose and laid in. All pages are present and accounted for. Foxing to pages throughout. An admittedly very worn but still quite charming and complete circa 1880s copy of Robert Bloomfield's The Farmer's Boy, the poem that made his reputation, beautifully illustrated throughout in thiry engravings from drawings by Birket Foster, Harrison Weir, and G.
