Tan cloth over boards, with upper board stamped in brown with Hardy Boys silhouette and upper board and spine lettered in brown. Moderate edgewear to binding, with bumping to corners and head and tail of spine. Dark blue topstain. Orange pictorial endpapers. Wartime age-toned papers. Binding is firm and sound.
