Rather heavy edgewear to bidning, with soiling to rear, scattered rubbing, bumping to extremities, and sunning to spine, title at spine no longer legible. Tape repairs to gathering pages 17-32. Gift inscription dated 1910 to front free endpaper, Christmas stamp to front pastedown. Binding is sound, possibly repaired. Pages are clean and unmarked. A worn but solid and still quite charming copy of this children's book by Sophie Swett, illustrated throughout in frontispiece and eleven plates. Fair. Item #3458
