Blue cloth over boards with upper board stamped with caduceus and book design in gilt and spine lettered in like. Mild edgewear to binding, with bumping to corners and slight lean to spine. Binding is firm and sound. Pages are clean and unmarked. A handsome first printing in dust jacket of these dramatic surgical stories by James Harpole, author of Leaves from a Surgeon's Case-Book.
