Black cloth over boards, with spine lettered in silver. Moderate edgewear and faint dampstains to cloth. Toning to endpapers. Binding is firm and sound. Pages are clean and unmarked. A worn but solid first printing of this account of a white family driven out of Mississippi with death threats, employment loss, and social ostracization when they meet with white Civil Rights workers in hopes of checking violence against people of color in McComb, Mississippi.
