Athens, Georgia: The University of Georgia Press, 1983.
Hardcover. 10 1/4" X 7 1/4". 1108pp. Mild wear to slipcase, with edgewear, dust soiling, and small closed tears to paper over sides. Both volumes bound in full red cloth with upper boards and spines lettered in gilt. A touch of shelfwear to bindings, with corners still sharp. Red topstains. Hinges a touch tender, bindings remain sound. Previous owner's marks to front pastedowns. Pages are musty, but clean and unmarked. A solid and presentable set in publisher's slipcase of the Dictionary of Georgia Biography, an extensive reference work of the important figures who have influenced the historical and cultural development of the Peach State, edited by prominent Georgia historians Dr. Kenneth Coleman and Dr. Charles Stephen Gurr of the University of Georgia. This is a heavy set and will require additional postage for international or priority orders. Very good. Item #2643
