We Have Been Friends Together: Very heavy wear to unclipped dust jacket, with chipping and open tears to edges and extremities, toning, scattered rubbing, and mild soiling. Blue cloth over boards, with spine lettered in gilt. Moderate edgewear to binding, with dampstain to tail of spine and bumping to extremities. Price notes and stickers to front flap of dust jacket and rear pastedown. Toning to endpapers. Hinges a touch tender, binding remains sound. Occasional light toning or foxing to pages, else clean and unmarked. Newspaper clipping laid in, dated October 19, 1978, "The Catholic Tradition...Matthew Arnold and St. Francis of Assisi" by John J. Mulloy. Good in fair jacket.

Tan cloth over boards, with spine lettered in blue. Soiling to cloth, bumping to extremities, and moderate edgewear to binding. Pencilled notes to front endpapers, inked to rear pastedown.
