Lacking dust jacket. Purple gilt-decorated paper over boards, with cover and spine lettered in gilt. Very heavy sunning to binding, with most of the purple bleached to tan. Rather heavy edgewear, with corners rubbed to boards and bottom third of spine torn along edge and starting to separate. Lovely fuschia silk endpapers with with avian and floral motif. Binding is sound. Pages are clean and unmarked. A worn, but still charming copy of this collection of epigrams and witticisms by Clara Keck Heflebower or "Dee Dee." Good. Item #1841
