Paper backing spine chipping away, scattered rubbing, and tape residue to both boards. Front board attached by a string, rear board tender. Bookplate of writer, editor, and biographer Walter Jerrold to front pastedown. Text block is sound. Some soiling, age-yellowing, and dog-earing to pages. A very heavily worn but readable copy of popular actor and comedian Ralph Wewitzer's collection of wit and humor. Poor. Item #1754
